About Lehigh Valley Camps

Founded in 1901 by social activism pioneer Mary Harriman, the Junior Leagues are charitable nonprofit organizations of women, developed as civic leaders, making a demonstrable impact on their communities.

The current community impact focus for the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley (JLLV) is the issue of Educational Disparity. The areas of impact are improving life skills and reducing the educational gap in lower income communities. JLLV has partnered with the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley to support its Summer Learning initiatives, including the Lehigh Valley Camps web site. JLLV volunteers are responsible for reviewing and posting new camps when they are submitted, and answering questions regarding Lehigh Valley Camps web site.
